Day Services Drama Group perform at the Crucible!
The Beauty Inspector' was a musical performance inspired by a short story by Richard Hurford that our Day Services Drama group performed alongside a group from Launch Pad.
Our Day Services drama group meet on a Thursday and were thrilled to be a part of a performance at Sheffield Theatres, Studio Theatre, they really enjoyed the whole experience including working a huge puppet of the Beauty Inspector which took five puppeteers to move his arms, legs and head.
The story was about the Ministry of Tests and Tick boxes, the Beauty Inspector was the most important man in the ministry's field of beautiful things and was taken on a nostalgic journey to consider what is truly beautiful.
Our drama group are now rehearsing for their next project which will be performed in December so look out for more details later in the year.
