Chris Gamble - Trustee
Chris worked for many years as a social worker in the Learning Disabilities Team of Sheffield Social Services. Then 3 years ago she started working for Sharing Caring Project at Sheffield Mencap as a Family Support Worker. My role was to support family carers of adults with learning disabilities, offering information, advocacy and emotional support, working to ensure they received all appropriate benefits and services, and helping them in planning for the future. I have also been a volunteer for some years for the Out and About Scheme and Under the Stars, being a member of the Out and About Walking Group, and the 'Liberated Ladies'.
